Ah, the scruffy me. I currently wear a close trimmed beard and mustache, but at that time I was letting it go. This isn't as scruffy as I got. I got into what I called "Rasputin the Mad Monk Mode" where my beard would be wild, and so were my eyes. That was usually because I was hacking some project and not sleeping, let alone wasting time on shaving! Trivia: The hat appears to say PAT - that's actually Rho Alpha Tau, or RAT in Greek. I was what was called a Wedgerat - The Wedge is what WPI would like students to believe is a student union. It is really a glorified hallway with seating.
